Theater and (re)territorialization training days (Côte d’Azur College)

Study days of this project T2epic (Theater and transition – deep ecology and collective intelligence) suggests thinking about the possible connections between theatrical practices, territorialization and community. How can theater contribute to the symbolic and commemorative constitution of living space through its modes of action and representation? How can coexistence, acting with conscience, participate in the visibility and development of social value?

They are watching Theater, Area, Landscape days in Moin-Sartou on May 5 and 6, 2022. These days, we surveyed the experience of landscape theater prepared by Aleksandr Kouchevsky and the participating dramaturgies on June 7 and 8, 2022. especially the experiments conducted by Tiago Rodrigues and David Geselson. For the third event, we will approach the experiences of the Turin TSC and Odin Theater’s Festugi.

Thursday, October 6, 2022

Campus Carlone, Amphi H75, after pre-registration.
From 9:00 to 13:00: Laboratory of practical experiments of community social theater in an urban context with graduate students of the University of the Côte d’Azur. Alberto Pagliarino, artist and researcher, and Giulia Menegatti, actress and speaker at the SCT Center.

Open to all at MSHS Sud-Est, Conference Room 031, space available.
16:00: Reinhabitory theater. Environmental theater troupe in California in the 1970s – Sacha Todorov (post-doctoral fellow, EUR ArTeC, Paris).

16:30: Festival let’s wake up Founded by Irina Brook in Nice in 2015: A pioneering artistic activity in the French CDN landscape? – Interview with Renato Giuliani.

17:00: Break

17:30: Screening: the village stands (2021), a documentary by Aurore Émaille as part of a workshop with teenage volunteers from La Brigue in the Rhône Valley (52′).

9:30 a.m.: land, Earth actors. The Franco-Italian experience of public social theater in the Transalpine valleys
– Alberto Pagliarino (artist and researcher, SCT Center and University of Turin).

10:15: Creating value in co-creative processes with groups and communities: assessment, challenge and resource – Alessandra Rossi Ghiglione (playwright, researcher, pedagogue, director of SCT Center, Turin).

13:30: Odin Theater and the city of Holstebro: community work in the third theater tradition – Pierangelo Pompa (director and teacher, Altamira Studio Teater / Højskolen Mors).
