The Embassy of France in Tunisia is reiterating its scholarship program that provides funding for the mobility of engineering studies in France within the framework of a double degree, the French Institute of Tunis (IFT) announced on Monday on its official website.
This scholarship program is open to Tunisian engineering schools that have signed a partnership agreement with a French engineering school and that benefit from the support of the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) in the form of scholarships to finance mobility for double degree engineering studies in France.
It complements the scholarship system of the Tunisian government and aims to promote cooperation between institutions by funding mobility at the engineer level.
This program will allow selected candidates to follow two years of study at a French engineering school leading to the award of two engineering degrees, one French, the other Tunisian.
Only candidates of Tunisian citizenship are eligible, excluding French-Tunisian dual citizens. They must be enrolled in 2021-2022 in the second year of the engineering cycle in a Tunisian engineering school benefiting for 2022-2023 from the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for mobility funding. Double degree Engineer/ Engineer in France.
Must be admitted for 2021-2022. year in a French engineering school as part of a collaboration between institutions that enables the delivery at the end of the course of two engineering diplomas, one French, the other Tunisian.
These are all areas related to engineering sciences. The duration of the scholarship is twenty-two months starting in September 2022.
Selected candidates will have a monthly allowance of 700 euros, support for return air ticket (Tunis-France-Tunis), support for social and supplementary mutual insurance, registration fee coverage with an upper limit of 5000 euros per year and exemption from visa fees. TLS costs are the responsibility of the scholarship holder who will, however, be exempt from paying the Campus France application fee.
In order to respond to the call for applications, engineering schools are invited to send a table by June 30, 2022, which can be downloaded from the IFT website, with the list of candidates received by the host institution. French language.
Applicants must be ranked by merit and by specialty, showing that those already determined to benefit from the Tunisian government scholarship for the start of the 2022 academic year.
This table duly completed, signed and stamped by the Director of the School of Engineering must be returned by email, in Excel format, to Mrs. Imen Annabi ([email protected]) and sent in hard copy to ‘IFT .
The list of successful candidates will be published in the first half of August on the website of the French Institute of Tunis.
