We want to show them that we can support them in a less rigid way and encourage them to come and be there with other students. meet,” explains Cédric Guern, Carré international communications officer at the University of Caen.
The latter also organizes a forum in this space – open to French and foreign students – that will bring together the actors of the region, CAF, CPAM… “At the beginning of the academic year, we have many questions from students regarding the residence permit. Accomodation can also be a problem when Crous doesn’t have more space. We advise students in their research and we have a partnership with Studapart,” explains Cédric Guern. Students are also helped to create an Izly account, which allows them to join social security, connect to the campus intranet or access the university restaurant.
